The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says power supply was fully restored by 4:08 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, after a planned outage at the 132/33kV Apo Transmission Substation allowed crews to fix a fault on Apo Lines 1 and 2 between Towers T130 and T132.
TCN said in a statement that the outage gave technicians the window needed to complete OPGW latching on the two 132kV Apo transmission lines, after which supply was brought back online.
The company thanked affected customers for their patience and said it remains committed to maintaining a reliable transmission network across the country.
