TCN, Stakeholders Inspect SLA Power Equipment

Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) Project Monitoring Office (PMO) handling the Service Level Agreement ((SLA) Projects, has led some Stakeholders on an inspection tour of power equipment delivered at the 132/33kV Gwagwalada Transmission Substation by Bussdor and Company Limited.

TCN’s General Manager, Public Affairs, Mrs. Ndid Mbah in a statement said, the tour was led by the PMO Programme Manager, Engr. Mathew Ajibade, on Monday in Abuja.

The GM listed some of the stakeholders to include the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), and Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), among others.

She said, the SLA project aims to resolve the transmission/distribution interface bottlenecks within the AEDC franchise area to improve electricity supply to end users and unlock the unutilized generation capacity in the country.

According to her, “a tour has also been scheduled with relevant stakeholders in the week to inspect SLA equipment delivered in some selected project sites in Lagos.

“TCN is committed to the complete implementation of the SLA programme nationwide.

“The project is part of the CBN intervention in the power sector”, she said.
