TheFact Daily gathered that the terrorists, Ibn Ali and Jaafar Abdullahi, laid down their arms on Monday, April 8, 2024, amidst intensified campaign by the troops of Operation Hadin Kai and the fear of battlefield elimination following attacks by ISWAP rival faction.

According to intelligence sources who informed Makama, the insurgents surrendered with two Ak47 rifles each with its magazines, bicycle and mobile phones.
