Two B/Haram Fighters Surrender To Troops In Borno

Two terrorists that have fled Boko Haram sanctuaries in Farisu camp, have surrendered to the troops of 21 Armored Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai, in Bama, LGA of Borno State.

Security analyst and counter insurgency expert in West Africa, Zagazola Makama, disclosed this on Tuesday, via his X handle, Zagazola.

TheFact Daily gathered that the terrorists, Ibn Ali and Jaafar Abdullahi, laid down their arms on Monday, April 8, 2024, amidst intensified campaign by the troops of Operation Hadin Kai and the fear of battlefield elimination following attacks by ISWAP rival faction.

According to intelligence sources who informed Makama, the insurgents surrendered with two Ak47 rifles each with its magazines, bicycle and mobile phones.

The surrendered terrorists are undergoing profiling at a military facility.
