The 2024 V-Africa conference which is currently ongoing at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria brought together over 2000 Independent Representatives, including network marketing experts, business leaders, and entrepreneurs in Nigeria and across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the launch of the products into Nigerian Markets on Saturday, March 2, 2024, the Chief Transformation and Reputation Officer of QNET, Trevor Kuna said, the participants, especially, top distributors were drawn from across Sub-Saharan Africa to learn how to manage and grow their QNET business in a more professional and sustainable way.
Kuna said, “they have come here to learn about all the products that we offer because how they earn money from the QNET business is that they sell our products to customers and other new independent representatives.
“So the next four days is all about training, personal development, understanding how to run and grow your business in Sub-Saharan Africa, and how to make it grow for the long term”, he said.
While explaining how the business works, Kuna said, “QNET is a direct-selling company. We are a health wellness and lifestyle company that has been around for 25 years. Our business model is direct-selling, meaning that we are a people-to-people business. We develop products.
“People that want to earn money from the business, they promote our products to other people. So it’s basically like word-of-mouth marketing. And that’s how they earn the money.
“They promote our products, and they earn a commission from the sales of those products. So that’s what QNET is. And the business happens online, which is also known as e-commerce.
“Because we are e-commerce, we sell our products and services in nearly 100 countries worldwide. So we have our franchisee partner here in Nigeria called Trans Blue.
“We have office locations and stockists who distribute our products around sub-Saharan Africa, also in North Africa, also in Europe, in Turkey, in UAE, all of Southeast Asia, India.
“So we’re a global wellness and lifestyle company that has a large footprint and a large customer base. And those people that promote the sales of our products, they earn money from the sales of those products. So that’s what we do”, he explained.
On the age range of the target audience, he said, “the target audience is anybody interested. They have to be an adult. So in order to become an independent representative of QNET, they have to be an adult. Whether it’s above the age of 18 or depending on the local laws. In that age range”.
QNET proudly holds memberships in the Direct Selling Association across several countries, the Hong Kong Health Food Association, the Health Supplements Industry Association of Singapore, and more.
The company’s involvement in global sports sponsorships, including partnerships with Manchester City Football Club and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), underscores its commitment to excellence and global reach.
The ceremonial launch was witnessed by many dignitaries, including the Senator Representing Oyo State Central Senatorial Districts, Distinguished Senator Yunus Akintunde.
