National Examinations Council (NECO) has debunked news that it was planning to recruit new staff.
This was contained in a statement issued by NECO Spokesperson, Azeez Sani on Wednesday.
The Council therefore enjoined members of the public to disregard the On-line Publication purporting that the it was planning to recruit new staff as it had no plan to do that.
Furthermore, the Council strongly stated that the publication was the product of the imagination of fraudsters who were out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
“NECO under the able leadership of the Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi will always adhere to due process and relevant extant laws when the Federal Government gives approval for staff Recruitment”, the statement concluded.
