He previously served as Chairman of the NUJ FCT Council and later as the union’s National Consultant on Politics and Union matters.

He brings his skills, experience and network as a journalist, public commentator, communication expert and publisher to the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organization (MDPCO).

As a spokesperson, Dunia will join other professionals on the campaign team to drive the Makinde/Daura “Reset Nigeria” message and work toward an APM victory in the 2027 Presidential election.

Makinde urged members of the campaign, party leaders, supporters of the APM and all Nigerians to stay committed to the shared effort of using the 2027 election to reset the nation and return it to a path of stability, national cohesion and economic prosperity.

The appointment was announced in a statement signed by Richard Ihediwa, Director of Strategic Communications, MDPCO.

I kept the story free of dashes, including in “Makinde/Daura,” which uses a slash instead.
