The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the postponement of presidential and governorship screening exercises for its primary earlier scheduled for this weekend to Monday, 18th May 2026.
ADC, in a statement on Saturday by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, explained that due to the security situation affecting some parts of Northern Nigeria, the screening of affected aspirants would now take place in Abuja.
The party, according to the statement, assured that all affected aspirants would be duly contacted with the updated schedules and necessary details.

ADC said it regrets any inconvenience the adjustment may cause and appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all aspirants and stakeholders.
