Former Minister for Special Duties, Barr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki told a new couple that a prosperous nation began with a stable family unit, urging them to build a lasting relationship with a home full of love and peace.
The former Minister who was Chairman of the occasion said this at the wedding of Mr.Talib Abdullahi Yelwa and Hajiya Nana Jibril on Sunday in Abuja.
TheFact Nigeria reports that the groom, Mr. Talib Abdullahi Yelwa is the son of renowned Journalist, educationist and publisher, Alhaji Abdullahi Yelwa.
The Chairman also told the couple that their wedding day should be their happiest day on earth.
For this reason, Barr. Turaki told the bride to build the type of home that her husband would always want to rush back to.
He reminded the couple that although there was no perfect marriage anywhere on the planet, their love for each other and mutual respect would keep them together for all times.
