A Toyota Camry with Reg no. APP 184 AR today crashed into a high tension pole in Kugbo, a popular suburb in the Federal Capital today.
TheFact Nigeria gathered that the driver lost control of the car and ran into the high-tension pole, bringing down the power line and obstructing traffic.
The driver of the Toyota Camry who identified himself as Abdul told TheFact Nigeria he dozed off, lost control of the car and ran into the pole. He attributed this to lack of sleep.
Fortunately, no casualty was recorded; only the two car occupants were involved, the second person had a minor cut, bruises and pain in his chest.
Men of the Federal Road Safety Corp and other security agencies were on ground, clearing the road and controlling traffic to forestall further accidents.
