Eid: NAF Airstrikes Destroy Terrorist Hideouts In Borno

Troops of OPERATION HADIN KAI, through coordinated airstrikes have decimated key Boko Haram hideouts at Tumbumma, Baba and Chiralia in the southern Tumbuns in Borno state.

NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, who disclosed this on Saturday, said the series of precision airstrikes were conducted on 5th and 6th June 2025 and targeted terrorist structures reportedly used for storage and coordination.

The strikes delivered hits, crippling planned attacks, which, based on credible intelligence, were aimed at disrupting Eid celebrations.

According to the Director, Battle Damage Assessments confirmed the neutralization of several terrorists and the destruction of key logistics structures.

“This preemptive action underscores the NAF’s commitment to safeguarding civilian lives and supporting national security objectives”, Ejodame stated.
