Governor Fintiri Commissions TETFund-sponsored Office Complex At Adamawa State University

The Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Fintiri has commissioned an iconic TETFund-sponsored office complex at Adamawa State University, Mubi, named after the former Vice Chancellor of the university and current Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Prof. Kaletpwa G. Farauta.
The Governor performed the inauguration alongside Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum and TETFund’s Director of Research and Development/Centres of Excellence, Dr. Salihu Bakari, who stood in for the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of TETFund, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, as part of activities marking the institution’s 16th, 17th and 18th convocation ceremonies.
Speaking at the event, Governor Fintiri commended TETFund for its commitment to supporting tertiary education and expressed appreciation to Dr. Salihu Bakari, who is an indigene of the state for his dedication and passion for educational advancement in Adamawa State. He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the standard of education in the state.
In his remarks, TETFund’s Director of Research and Development/Centres of Excellence, Dr Salihu Bakari expressed gratitude to Governor Fintiri for his interest in educational advancement of the state.
Dr. Bakari expressed delight in being part of the ceremony, noting that his humble efforts at ensuring the development of Adamawa institutions was a way of giving back to his home state.
He stated that TETFund would always be willing to work with a progressive leader such as Governor Fintiri for the development of higher institutions in Adamawa State.
Speaking earlier, the Vice Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Prof. Augustine Clement commended TETFund for delivering a world-class project in the institution and also assured the Fund of prudent utilization of the intervention funds.
