Gunmen Attack, Kill Miyetti Allah Chairman In Nasarawa State

The Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Mohammed Hussain has been killed by suspected bandits.

According to the Nasarawa Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ramham Nansel, information was received yesterday, 2nd April, at about 7pm, to the effect that unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani bandits had attacked and killed one Mohammed Hussaini, the Chairman, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Nasarawa State, and his Toto Local Government Area counterpart, Mohammed Umar, at Garaku market.

“Upon receipt of the information, the Commissioner of Police, CP Bola Longe, swiftly deployed Operation Puff Adder II personnel to the scene where the two corpses were recovered and taken to the hospital”, Nansel disclosed.

Meanwhile, the corpses, after being confirmed dead, have been  deposited at Anthony Memorial Mortuary for post Mortem examination.
