Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, (FFK), has been in the news in the past few days for alleged moves at defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC).
TheFact Nigeria observed that this is evident in the frequency with which FFK has been visiting some APC governors in recent days.
The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello on Wednesday affirmed that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has defected to the APC.
In a trending video, Governor Bello confirmed the speculation in a trending video after he revalidated his APC membership in his country home in Kogi state.
However, in a latest twist, Chief Fani-Kayode on his verified Twitter handle, denied defecting to the APC.
@realFFK wrote: “Though we have had meetings across party lines and we are in a season of political consultation I have not left the PDP.
“I would advise Nigerians to be very wary about fake quotations that are being attributed to me concerning other political leaders in the country. If you did not read it on my verified twitter handle or my verified Facebook page then I NEVER said it. Period.”
