TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations host, Ivory Coast defeated Guinea Bissau 2-0 to begin the 2023 edition of the tournament on an impressive start.
Goals from Seko Fofana and Jean-Philippe Krasso in the 4th and 58th minutes were enough to seal the victory for the host.
With the victory, Ivory Coast is currently topping the tricky Group A which also has Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
