Kebbi State Police Command Welcomes New CP

The Kebbi State Police Command has welcomed its new Commissioner, CP Chris Aimono Wane, who has assumed duties as the 36th police chief in the State.

A statement Monday, by the State Command’s spokesperson, SP Nafiu Abubakar, says Wane assumed duties today, 18th September, 2023

CP Wane, PSC, mnips, was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 3rd March 1990, as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police and trained at the famous Police Academy Annex, Kaduna.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Sociology from Edo State University, Ekpoma, and a Masters degree in Industrial Labour Relations from Delta State University, Abraka.

Wane served in different State Commands, Zonal Commands, and Formations, as well as the Force Headquarters, Abuja, and the Force Criminal Investigation Departments in Lagos and Abuja.

He takes over the mantle of leadership of the Command from CP Samuel Titus Musa, PSC, who retired from the active service of the Force.

The new CP has appealed to the people of Kebbi State to support, cooperate, and assist the Police and other security agencies with vital, accurate, and prompt information with a view to ensuring their security and safety for improved socio-economic development.

His posting takes immediate effect.
