Former President of the United States of America, Mr Barack Obama has said that climate change is a global threat that can be tackled as long as all stay hopeful and keep working on the challenge with the urgency it deserves.
Mr. Obama gave this charge to world leaders in a tweet on his verified twitter handle.
@BarackObama wrote: “Climate change is a real threat to us all—but feeling helpless or overwhelmed isn’t going to solve it. As long as we stay hopeful and keep working with the urgency the challenge demands, we can make a difference.”
Also, the United Nations on its verified twitter account said there was the need to keep working on the challenges posed by climate change in spite of the Covid 19 pandemic.
@UN wrote: “We simply cannot allow the pandemic to keep us from working together.”
