The Minister stated that Nigeria’s economic progress was no longer a matter of political rhetoric but one supported by credible data and independent assessments. He noted that reports by the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, Bloomberg and Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics affirm that the country’s economic reforms were producing measurable results and strengthening confidence in the economy.

According to Dr. Alausa, key macroeconomic indicators continue to move in the right direction, with inflation gradually easing, economic activities expanding and other critical economic indices showing steady improvement.

He stressed that while the administration was encouraged by the positive economic outlook, President Tinubu had placed enormous emphasis on ensuring that the reforms remained sustainable and continue to deliver benefits long after the present administration.

“The President is focused on building a stronger Nigeria for generations to come. These reforms are not designed for short-term gains but to create lasting prosperity. There is no value in making difficult decisions if they cannot stand the test of time,” the Minister said.

He added that the administration’s commitment to fiscal discipline, structural reforms and long-term economic stability was already yielding positive outcomes across several sectors, positioning Nigeria on a stronger path towards inclusive growth, increased productivity and national development.

Reaffirming his confidence in the President’s administration, the Minister maintained that as Nigerians continue to witness improvements in economic indicators and the positive impact of ongoing reforms, President Tinubu’s performance will remain the strongest basis for seeking another mandate in 2027.

He further reaffirmed that the President Tinubu-Led administration remains commitment to implementing policies that strengthen the economy, improve the welfare of citizens and advance the Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing optimism that the gains of the current reforms would continue to deliver lasting prosperity for all Nigerians.
