Nigerian Pop diva, Tiwa Savage has revealed that she was nearly attacked when she visited a beach in Lagos without her security officials.
The 41-year-old singer made this known via series of Instagram posts on Sunday night.
The songstress narrated that she was almost slapped by an unidentified person while at the beach.
The ‘Koroba’ singer also shared clips from her recent visit to the beach which showed some fans and fun-seekers cheering her in excitement.
In her post, she said: “Omo I do mistake go beach without security, and small cash. Omo I nearly chop slap that day.”
In one of the clips the ‘Somebody’s Son’ crooner posted, heavily armed policemen were seen surrounding her while she greeted her fans from a distance.
Responding to the fans hailing her on the beach, the mother of one wrote:
“Hahahahaha I love you all too but from afar”.

In another post, she talked about the usual hustle and bustle of Lagos at night and also concluded that it is now “expensive to go out.”
