Tinubu Condoles With Malawi Over Passing Of Chilima

President Bola Tinubu has extended his sincere condolences to the Malawian President, Lazarus Chakwera, and the people of Malawi over the passing of Vice-president Saulos Chilima and other officials in a plane crash.

President Tinubu, according to the statement made available by his Spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday, commiserated with the family of the deceased over the deeply distressing incident, which happened on a mournful Monday, June 10, 2024.

The President assured the Malawian nation of Nigeria’s support during this time of mourning and prays for the repose of the souls of the departed.

TheFact Daily had reported that Chilima died with nine others while travelling to represent the government at the burial of former government minister, Ralph Kasambara, who died four days ago.
