Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, who was sentenced to six months imprisonment for naira mutilation has been released.
The social media celebrity regained freedom from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in the morning of Monday, August 5, 2024.

A viral footage showed him inside a luxury car leaving the prison vicinity alongside two of his friends.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Bobrisky to six-months imprisonment without option of fine after finding him guilty of Naira abuse.
Awogboro, held that the jail term commenced on March 24, the day of his arrest.
