NERC Receives New Mgt Team Of NDPHC, Pledges Support

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has pledged to support the new management team of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited (NDPHC) to ensure reliable electricity access for Nigerians.

NERC Chairman, Engr. Sanusi Garba, made the pledge while receiving the NDPHC team led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Jennifer Adighije, at the NERC Headquarters, Abuja on Monday for a courtesy visit.

The visit aimed to foster stronger partnerships and seek NERC’s support in advancing their shared goals of improving the power sector.

NDPHC has the mandate of delivering critical intervention projects in the Nigerian power sector value chain.

The Engr. Garba alongside the Commissioners, while congratulating the management team, noted that NERC has an open-door policy, emphasizing the Commission’s commitment to supporting all credible efforts to ensure reliable electricity access in the country.

It would be recalled that President Bola Tinubu recently approved the appointment of the new management team for the NDPHC to be led by Ms. Adighije.

Ms. Adighije, is an experienced engineer with vast competencies across management functions in the private and public sectors.

She holds a master’s degree in Wireless Networks & Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
