Dismissed Immigrations Officer Caught Attempting To Sell Rifle To Bandits

Officers of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the FCT Police Command have arrested a dismissed immigration officer attempting to sell two rifles to bandits in the Zuma community of Bwari Area Council.
The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, Rilwan Disu, disclosed this while briefing journalists on Wednesday about the successes recorded from January to date.
According to him, the suspect was arrested following an intelligence tip-off received by officers of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the command.
He also revealed that the operation leading to the arrest was led by Mustapha Muhammed.
However, the suspect’s name was not disclosed, as CP Disu explained that this was due to security reasons. The suspect is still in detention as investigations are ongoing.
