Keyamo Visits Air Chief Over Ondo NAF Crash

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, on Wednesday visited the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, at the Nigerian Air Force Headquarters in Abuja to condole with the service over the recent NAF aircraft accident in Ondo State.

Keyamo conveyed the condolences of the Federal Government and the aviation community, while emphasising the importance of safety, professionalism and protection of lives within Nigeria’s airspace.

The visit also focused on strengthening cooperation between the Nigerian Air Force and civil aviation authorities through professional exchanges, training and knowledge-sharing.

Aneke commended the minister for his support, noting that closer collaboration between civil and military aviation institutions would enhance professional capacity and enable both sides to benefit from the NAF’s operational experience and aviation expertise.

The engagement, according to the NAF, underscores the service’s commitment to continuous professional development and institutional cooperation in promoting high standards of aviation safety and professionalism.
