Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) Abuja Region, has restored bulk power supply on 60MVA 132/33kV Transformer 1 at Kukwaba Transmission Substation.
In a statement on Wednesday, TCN said supply was restored at 4:14pm Tuesday after the crew successfully rectified identified faults.
The company said the transformer had developed fault at approximately 8:37 p.m. on Monday October 19, 2026 resulting in loss of bulk electricity supply to connected feeders.

It said Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) can now off take electricity for onward supply to customers in Durumi, Sunnyvale, Human Rights Radio, Pyakasa and Trademore axis.
TCN apologised for the inconvenience caused by the outage to electricity consumers in affected areas.
