NEMA Distributes Food Items Donated By Saudi Arabia To Zamfara IDPs

The National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA), has said that Agency has started the distribution of food items donated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre for Internally Displaced Persons, (IDPs) in Zamfara State.

The information was obtained from the official Twitter handle of NEMA, @nemanigeria.

Hajiya Faika Ahmed, Zamfara State’s Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs represented the Governor, Bello Muhammad. Also present was the State Commissioner for Women Affairs,

“Flag off distribution of food items donated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre @KSRelief_EN for IDPs in Zamfara State.

“The Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Muhammad Matawalle @Bellomatawalle1
was represented by the state Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Hajiya Faika Ahmed. Also present was the State Commissioner for Women Affairs. @Zamfara_state.

Recall that in late March, the Director General of NEMA AVM MA Muhammed (rtd) received the Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria, His Excellency Ibraheem Alghamedi.

The duo discussed about preparations to distribute humanitarian support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre @KSRelief_EN for persons affected by banditry in Zamfara State and Internally Displaced Persons affected by insurgency in Borno and Yobe States.
