Nigeria-Niger Joint Military Operation Neutralises ISWAP Terrorists

Troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Sector 4 Niger Republic, have neutralized an ISWAP Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) targeting their forces.

Counter insurgency expert and security analyst, Zagazola Makama, who disclosed this on Wednesday 13 March 2024 via his X handle, said the feat was achieved today during a clearance operation at ISWAP enclaves in Gashigar, Borno State.

TheFact Daily reports that Nigerian Air Force jets from Operation Hadin Kai, supported by intelligence aircraft from Niger Sector 4, subsequently struck another two fleeing ISWAP gun trucks and a structure harboring escaping terrorists, resulting in the elimination of several terrorists.
