The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has invited the presidential candidates of the Labour Party (LP) and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to inaugurate projects in the state.
TheFact Daily reports that Governor Wike announced yesterday that he has invited Peter Obi of the LP and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP to commission different projects in the state.
Wike said, Peter Obi would inaugurate the Nkpolu-Oroworukwo Flyover Bridge and the inauguration was scheduled to be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the Nkpolu-Oroworukwo junction, Ikwerre road, Phalga, Rivers State.
He also made it known that he was expecting President Mohammadu Buhari in Rivers state on Friday to commission one of the projects carried out by his administration.
He expressed his administration readiness to carter for the people of the state and that he promised not to leave any project uncompleted before the end of his tenure as governor of the state.
