Shettima Departs Abuja For Katsina To Attend Hajiya Dada Yar’adua’s Burial

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport en route to Katsina State for the burial of Hajiya Dada Yar’adua, mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua and former Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters, Shehu Yar’adua.
His Spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha who disclosed this a statement posted on his X handle on Tuesday, revealed that Jana’iza (funeral prayers) for the late matriarch would be conducted today at the Yar’adua family house in Katsina.
The Vice President, according to him, was accompanied by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa; Ambassador Babagana Kingibe; and the Special Adviser to the President on General Duties, Aliyu Modibo.
Hajiya Dada Yar’adua passed away on Monday at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Katsina, after a brief illness.
