The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) says it is strengthening partnership with the Council of Bureaux, ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme, to ensure a more seamless regional insurance framework that supports trade, travel, and economic integration across the sub‑region.
This commitment was reinforced in Abuja when the Commission hosted a high‑level delegation from the Council of Bureaux, ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme, reaffirming its commitment to deepening collaboration across the insurance value chain.
NAICOM disclosed in a statement on Tuesday that the engagement brought together key stakeholders, united by a shared vision: to make cross‑border motor insurance more efficient, reliable, and accessible throughout West Africa.
“By strengthening partnerships and aligning priorities, NAICOM and the Council of Bureaux are paving the way for a more seamless regional insurance framework that supports trade, travel, and economic integration across the sub‑region,” the statement said.
