NAICOM Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Late Barr. Rotimi Edu

The leadership of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Barrister Rotimi Edu, to commiserate with them over the passing of their father, and to honour his contributions to the nation’s insurance industry.

The visit was led by the Commissioner for Insurance, Mr. Ayo Omosehin, to express the Commission’s solidarity during their period of grief.

NAICOM, in a statement made available on Thursday, described the late Barrister Edu’s life as a celebration of service and impact, noting his invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the insurance sector over the course of his career.

In a tribute to the deceased, the Commission stated that his dedication, leadership and vision left an indelible mark on the profession and would continue to inspire the next generations of practitioners with the industry.

“NAICOM stands in solidarity with his loved ones during this period of grief, while cherishing the enduring memory of his achievements and the indelible mark he left on the profession,” the Commission said.

Barrister Edu held the distinguished designation of Member of the National Institute (mni) and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB).
