The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced an urgent maintenance exercise at its Katampe Transmission Substation, Abuja.
In a statement on Saturday, TCN said the exercise would allow its crew seal an oil leakage discovered on one transformer at the 330/132/33kV Katampe Substation.
The exercise is scheduled to run from 10a.m. to 7p.m. today, during which some circuits would be affected.

As a result, AEDC would be unable to draw electricity from some of the feeders connected to the affected transformer, disrupting supply to customers fed through them.
TCN apologises for any inconvenience the temporary interruption may cause electricity consumers in the affected areas.
