He said concerns over wage and pension adjustments were being addressed in consultation with relevant military, pension and financial authorities to achieve a fair, sustainable and implementable resolution.

Musa urged the veterans to remain calm and pursue constructive engagement, saying sustained dialogue was the most effective way to resolve outstanding issues while preserving the dignity and honour of those who served the nation.

He explained that any adjustment to veterans’ entitlements must be properly computed, adequately funded and implemented in line with existing approvals, regulations and due process to ensure sustainability and prevent unintended disparities.

The minister assured the veterans that the ministry would continue engaging their representatives and provide updates as progress is made.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to recognising the patriotism, courage and sacrifices of military veterans through sustained attention to their welfare and legitimate entitlements.
