NAICOM, NITDA Collaborate To Institutionalise Cyber Insurance

The Management of the Nigeria Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) have met to activate the process of institutionalizing cyber insurance to help strengthen the digital ecosystem in Nigeria.

The Commissioner for Insurance/Chief Executive Officer of NAICOM, Olorundare Sunday Thomas, and the management team received the Director General/CEO, Mr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, who paid a courtesy visit to him.

The two Agencies discussed the enormous benefits to the nation and have agreed to partner to ensure it is realised.

1Mr Thomas has since his assumption of office, working to increase insurance penetration through robust policies and collaboration with other agencies to actualize his set goals.
