Morocco To Host 2025 CAF Awards

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced that the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony shall be held in Rabat, Morocco.

According to the post that was made today, Friday, on their official X and Facebook handles, they said the CAF Awards 2025 shall be staged in Rabat, Morocco on 19 November, 2025.

The ceremony shall kick off at 7:00 PM local time, drawing all eyes and attention to the Moroccan capital City, Rabat, just some weeks before the nation hosts Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025.

The award has several categories, such as the Men best player of the Year, women best player of the Year, Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year, Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, Men’s young player of the Year, Women’s young player of the Year, Men’s coach of the Year, Women’s Coach of the Year, Men’s National Team of the Year and Women’s National Team of the Year, etc.

Excitement is already building around the nominees that were unveiled by CAF, as this is an individual award on their performances, hard work and dedication to football, both home and international.

The men’s key nominees are Achraf Hakimi (Morocco/Paris Saint-Germain), Victor Osimhen (Nigeria/Galatasaray), Mohamed Salah (Egypt/Liverpool), as they have contributed greatly to football, both in their national team and international clubs

Morocco hosting the award ceremony, is as a result of their billions investment in stadiums ahead of AFCON 2025, which shall kick off from December 21, 2025.

Fans from across the globe are looking forward to seeing who will take the award of each category home on Wednesday, 19th November, 2025.
