Parts of Lagos are experiencing reduced bulk power supply after a fault on a major transmission line in the early hours of Tuesday, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said.
The company said the Ikeja-West/Omotosho 330kV line tripped at 12:37am on 27th October after the Y-Phase downdropper twin conductors were cut at the Ikeja-West end.
TCN said its engineers are working to restore the line immediately.
The outage will affect bulk power supply to parts of Lagos, and the company has asked Eko Electricity Distribution Company and Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company to take note.
TCN apologised for any inconvenience caused to customers of both distribution companies who are affected by the outage.
