Recovered items include suspected explosive charges, three-and-a-half bags of unidentified mineral substances, and other related materials.

The suspects are currently in military custody as investigations continue to determine their mission and any possible links to criminal or terrorist networks.

A senior officer of the Guards Brigade confirmed the interception, noting that troops will continue countermeasures to make FCT and environs safe and free of security threats.
